Dolph Lundgren, the Swedish actor, revealed in an interview
that he has been battling lung cancer for eight years, and believes his past
use of steroids for bodybuilding may have contributed to it.
He was first diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in his kidney
in 2015, and has since undergone surgery to remove six tumors.
In 2020, another
tumor was found in his liver, which had grown to the size of a small lemon, and
he had to undergo systemic therapy, which caused him to lose a lot of weight
due to side effects.
Lundgren hopes that by sharing his story, he can help save
someone else's life.
