Saturday Vanguard reports that two presidential candidates, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Mr Peter Obi, have vowed to invalidate Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu's electoral victory in the last February 25, 2023 presidential election through court process.
The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja received five lawsuits filed by political parties challenging the election outcome.
The report critiques the tribunal's composition and the level of trust top lawyers have in the panel members. The tribunal members were drawn from five geo-political zones of the country, with no political zone having double representation except for the South East.
Two of the aggrieved political parties have withdrawn their petitions, and the remaining three are continuing with their separate cases against the President-Elect, Bola Tinubu.
