Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has urged fans to be patient with the
club's record signing, Darwin Nunez, who has been criticized for his lackluster
performance since his €80 million move from Benfica.
Klopp believes that Nunez's struggles are due to the team's overall poor
form rather than a lack of quality on the player's part.
The manager also stated that Nunez would have scored 20+ goals if the
team had been in better shape and that he needs time to settle into the squad.
Nunez had an impressive season at Benfica, scoring 34 goals in 41 games,
and Liverpool is hoping to see similar productivity from him in the upcoming
season.
