The Onidimu of Idimu Land, Oba Azeez Dada Aluko Olugoke, aged 87, has
passed away after a brief illness.
The announcement was made by the Chairman of Egbe Idimu Local Council
Development Area, Sanyaolu Olowoopejo, who also expressed condolences to the
royal family and the people of Idimu town.
Olowoopejo described the deceased monarch as a peace-loving man who was
committed to the development of the community.
The burial rites are expected to be announced by the family soon. Idimu is a densely populated town located in the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos state, which is the largest populated council in Lagos.
